A PC-9 could only win a dog fight if it was piloted by a kamikaze! Nic pic though.... Vomit inducing mongrel aircraft.....

I was there too...

I popped down there as well! Those skydivers sure come down in a hurry and then shoot across the lake for a few spectacular landings!!!

Uh ving, there is something wrong with your plane. The propeller's not turning. See Colin's is fine, you can see the prop is blurry, ie moving in a circular motion.

Nice shot though. You must have had your camera set pretty fast to stop the prop so clearly. What gear were you using?

Hey Ving

It looks like some of the locals here are giving you a bit of a hard time with their humorous, tongue-in-cheek comments! I really like the photo. The simplicity and tri-colour impact of the Red-Blue and White make it a very striking composition.

Cheers

Dennis

thanks denis

paul, it was taken with the 55-200mm af-s at 200mm. I used the "p" setting on teh dial which i believe is presets or something. I could have gone for a longer exposure to blur the prob but i was after sharpness so i put up with a frozen prop... I guess it would be easy to blur it in pspx tho

nice shots colin! I may have even seen you there as i was looking at all the cameras being used

I really like that second shot above, the plane looks like it's just hanging there.

Nice shots Ving.

I was there with my 9 year old son, so we only turned up for the roulettes and then stayed for a few of the skydivers. I spent plenty of time looking at other ppls setups as well!
