Smile Comet Leonos meets NGC 6231

Hi all again,
Great to see some clear skies at last over this way!
So have spent my time imaging and viewing our two comet visitors with my GM-8 and Televue genesis.
This is just one frame quickly processed to post of Comet Leonos amongst emission stuff and open cluster NGC-6231. Not sure the name of the other little cluster but I am quiet pleased with the result! Seeing was surprisingly good seeing how low down it is. My focus could have been a little better but.
All I have to do is stack the other 15 images and process them. Shall be a tricky exercise but should be nice..Shall post when I get the time to process this one..
Oh image is 1 x 3min at iso 400 with my canon 300d through Tv genesis.
Thanks for looking and more CS everyone.
Gary

Wow, that's beautiful Gary! Excellent work. It's still in the general vicinity tonight, would make a lovely widefield.

That's a cracker of a shot, especially for a single frame Gary.

I love the colours in this shot, green comet amongst the red neb.

Well done.

Well done. Great choice of exposure too, keeping both the comet and background stationary. Lonmger exposures would see the comet trailed.
