Size of the sensor in the Gstar-EX

I'm trying to find out the dimensions of the sensor in the gstar-ex.Its speced as
1/2inch sony ExView HAD CCD.However thats not the dimensions of the sensor , the 1/2' is a dated term that does not describe the actual size of the sensor.I'd be grateful to any one who can help as im trying to use CCd calc that requires this info.

I believe it has the Sony ICX429AKL chip in it. Google search will bring up the spec.
