Pleides (part of)

Had an all night session last night.... zonked. Taken a sickie today

Shot a few subjects including the pleides, shot with the 12 inch 7x360 sec on the canon 350d. Shot this one about midnight, had to rearrange the scope to shoot over the walls of the observatory, so put the legs up, its a long way up in the air but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

It was good to finally get a night that was not too windy (started off a bit and had to ditch every second image) wind died down by midnight and by 3 o clock ..... fantastic.

With all the previous cruddy weather i had a bit of time to reprocess some shots so heres a couple of older bonus ones that i havent posted before

Looking good. Enjoyed Centaurus A. The Pleiades would have looked nice with a mosaic at this focal length to bring out the wisp nebulosity around the cluster members. Well done.

Lovely images Alchemy, I really like the nebulosity you've captured in the Pleiades.

Great work.
