First viewing in a fortnight

Got in 45 minutes of viewing tonight before the clouds closed in.
First look in almost two weeks!
Even my 5 year old daughter was keen to get out and have a look.

Please let it be clear on the weekend.

Yes Yes We had clears skies for a short while too.
I was at a meeting, but I'd bought the binos and laser pointer with me and took (made/forced) the others to come out with me and look at the night sky.

Are you going to any organised observing night this weekend MrSnipey?

Still cloudy down this way, I haven't used my scope for nearly 3 weeks now.

Things are starting to look grim.

Hi jjjnettie, I hadn't planned on going to any organised viewings. In fact I've never been to one.
Are there any on this weekend?

I didn't have to force my daughter to come out, she followed me out and then kept hogging the eye piece.

I'm assuming you're from Brissie.
There is a dark sky observing night this Saturday night at Cambroon Observatory, Kenilworth. We usually get a good turn out of IceInSpacer's.
