My Last Image from the Modded 300D

Howdy guys,

This is my ever last image coming out from the modded 300D. Now it is being taken good care of in Alchemy's hand.

This was taken 3 days ago and i really wanted to take a comparison shot of M42 Orion early which I took a few weeks back with and without the Baader UHC-S Filter.

The left one is with UHC-S filter and the right one is without.

Higher Res here:

Fantastic images Eric. Both in the taking, and the processing.
So what will your new camera be?

Both beautiful images Eric!
The one with the UHC-S filter looks a bit deeper but I like the second one a tad better!
Well done..

identical length of time between the two images. Probably the one without the UHC-S has more light frames.

Hey Eric,
I meant to comment on these images earlier on....
Fantastic is what comes to mind....

I definitely prefer the one where you used the UHC-S filter... I love the effect from the star embedded within ngc 1980.. very 'Malin-ish'

Great detail and vivid colours without going overboard.

Excellent swan song for the outgoing camera.

Good buying with the new.

Cheers
Rich
