Corona Australis centered on NGC 6723

Haven't posted any pictures for a while so I am a bit out of practice.

Corona Australis region centered on the Glob, NGC-6723.

http://www.pbase.com/takman2/image/86704586/original

Taken at the prime focus of the SW ED80, Canon 350D, unmodified, no filters. Focus ended up being a little soft due to the falling temperature.

10 x 200 seconds @ ISO 800, 10 x 200 second Darks, Flats and Bias.

Automated using DSLR Focus, processed in ImagesPlus 2.80 and slight Levels and Curves in Photoshop CS-2.

Image was taken testing the tracking of a CCD-Labs, Q-Guider and guided using PHD and a William Optics 66SD as a guidescope.

Cheers

I wish I could get my focus so "soft".
I would not be unhappy to achieve such a fine capture.
Excellent in my opinion.

I love the blue hues that you've captured in there, beautiful image indeed.
