DSI Pro sensitivity

Last night I managed to get outside for half an hour for a bit more experimentation with the DSI Pro.

My Jupiter efforts were a failure, I just couldn't get it exposed correctly. I then swung the Dob around to the Northern Jewel Box (NGC 6231) to see what it could do with an open cluster.

Well, I was quite surprised by how many faint stars showed up in the resulting image given the short exposure times. Bear in mind that this is on a non-tracked Dob so I had to limit my exposures to 1/4 second. Even at 1/4 s there is visible star trailing. The image is a stack of 20 exposures.

I can't wait for the day I am able to image some faint fuzzy stuff.
