Spica, Mercury Conjunction

Hi Andrew & All,

Very nice image mate and shows the subtle colours as I saw them both naked eye and with the 15x70s -- Mercury was a creamy beige and Spica icy blue. A very nice sight!

We had a clear sky here in Perth and a fine view of the event. The colours were very noticeable, with Mercury making Spica look clean white to me. Also interesting from my location was the obvious twinkling of Spica compared to Mercury's steady shine.
