Final 4 Vesta animation

Well, I finally ran out of luck after 10 nights, which was a pretty good run! Here's the final animation - the registration still isn't perfect but the best I can do with the proggies I've got .

The little dots 'attached' to Jupiter in most frames are moons. Jupiter is well & truly burnt out at 8-sec exposures of course. Interesting to see the movement in Jupiter too.

Cheers -

Hmm, don't know what's going on there, but the gif doesn't seem to run smoothly at all. Much better when I open it from the folder on my computer. Seems to stutter and open frames in sections rather than as whole frames. Anyone else see this?

Thanks for sharing that Rob, I was fascinated to see how great Vesta's degree of movement was (and Jupiters too).

For what it's worth the animation ran clean and smooth here too - each frame opening fully and advancing to the next with perfect timing.

That is fantastic Rob!

It is amazing being able to watch objects travel through space. You have done a great job of the animation.

Thanks everyone. Funny, but when I open the posted gif, it still just about makes me seasick with the strange movements!
