trifid nebula (M20) *reprocessed*

well heres my latest attempt, the wind was gusting and the seeing was poor (again) so i kept exposures short. a bit disappointing really but overall im happy with it even if the nebula doesn't blast your eyes out.
i had to crop it because the coma was pretty ugly but i have a mpcc + uhc-s on the way though so hopefully the next images i post will be much better

There's a lot more detail than you think. I took your (low res) pic and did a quick curves and levels in PS. Here is the result. You should be able to get a lot more out of your original.

Very nice work.

Your reprocessed image looks much better! I'm amazed at the detail you are getting for such short exposures!

I can't wait to see what you will get once you start to increase you exposure times.

Congratulations on making such good progress so far.

still wasn't happy so i re-processed it right from raws again, i cropped all the coma out for now as it really wasn't helping.
