Lagoon last attempt.

I took a few and used about 10 frames, a dark, no flat yet.

190 sec subs, canon 300d,800iso, 150sn, on eq6 mount unguided
I am blessed with this mount when it works... had some long unguided runs when balanced etc. this shot was last dark.

I did my best with processing but this is my next area to get on top of... I find processing easy when intuitive but trying to do it the right way is still a ways off for me....but I am happy with the definition and I have been told this image is not green.. I know the color is still not working for me but I hope this color is less offessive than green..it gets in and I cant see it...

anyways here is my effort.

Errr... this started of trying that new resize program posted today but when I finished it was small? I will try it again but at least I now have it..Thanks Mike... my shot is not much better in larger version anyways.

and I ran it thru noiseworks on the default setting .. seemed better after that.

Well done Alex, a fine effort. The colours looks good and you have captured some nice detail as well.

Cheers

Ric and Jeanette thank you for the encouragement.
I have left my green period and hopefully now enter my red period.
Processing is harder than I thought but I will keep at it.
Thanks again

Well I like to think of my self as artist first and photographer second...
I think my earlier shots could fit the impressionist catagory.
