Skywatcher Dob owners in the ACT

Hi guys

I was wondering are there any 8-10" Dob owners in the ACT that would let me have a look at their scope so I can compare the size to what I have and possibly base my decision off that?

The Skywatcher 10" is the one I'm looking at in particular but any 8-10" would be great.

The other main issue was the position of viewing..

Is your scope an f5? The 8" dob will be an f6 so just add another 200mm to the tube length. The 10" is the same length but about 2" wider.

As for the base the 8" will have a base that is about 60cm in diameter and stand about the same height if that makes sense.
