Cyclone, The Eye Of God, Helix etc..etc.
Hey guys,
Had a go at the helix on saturday night. Finally have some time to process it. flatout busy with work etc.
This one was hard to find a bright enough guidestar hence it is slightly not centred.
13 x 5 minutes at ISO 800.

Good one, Eric. Doesn't matter about the off-centre. I think artists actually try to put things off-centre on purpose, anyway.

Eric, I recon you should be pleased with that - I have a few lights from this - well 16*300s at iso 1600 - but the stack is way short of enough to get a presentable image (for me that is) - this object is dim - your processing is excellent...well done mate!

very nice stuff Eric
well done
Off-center doesnt really matter, personal taste I reckon, using the rule of thirds is actually just fine IMO
nice job

Yes excellent shot, can not only see the " northeast arc" but can also see a few of those cometary type elongations in the inner disc.
