If the background is unusually attractive I have good look - I recall one of our European members has a very pleasant looking garden - can't recall the name though.

What got me thinking about this was that I followed a link to Eric Lo's (EzyStyles) site and checked out his equipment page as you do!!
I could see a road beyond his garden fence and thought - "Does he take these amazing shots with the occasional car headlight going by!!??"

Cheers
Doug

I agree about Eric's amazing images Doug considering the light pollution in his area they are really great.

Apologies to Leon, but if you look at yard shots of Leons gear you will notice he has a beautifully landscaped backyard.

Every time I visit his place I am impressed by it.

See here for one example: http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=14628

The person you are probably thinking of is 'Ispom' in Germany. His yard is full of lush plants & trees. http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=19785 http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=22996

As you can tell, I'm one thats does look at the whole picture

Inclined to let nature take its course in my backyard, mowing is a job to be done about every 6 months whether needed or not. Anyway, when I do get around to it, think of all that lovely organic stuff added to the compost heap. My story, an I'm sticking to it.

I have large numbers of "native" bunnies that seem to keep the grass down. Maybe you need to get some.
