dmk camera autoguiding

has anyone got the dmk cameras to work with guidedog or another autoguiding program?

Good question, I plan to use my DMK for manual or auto guiding for widefield DSLR shots in the future.

I don't see why it can't be used.

i tried using guidedog to recognise mine but it couldnt see it in the list of available cameras.

I think it should be able to be used by guidedog. Try PhD Guiding.

If you download Guidemaster (free) they have a plugin for DMK. Metaguide also works with it apparently. Of course the best of the lot (well I love it ) is the extremely useful, nay I say, indespensible, K3CCDTools works a treat with the DMK.


Oh and apparently Guidedog doesn't work with DMK. (Yahoo DMK group)

PHD Guiding definitely recognises the DMK.
