How to add a avatar ?

gday all

first of all nice new look


what iam wondering if someone can tell how to add a avatar now i had a look in
edit avatar but all i can see is sve changes and reset field ?

do i have to go somewhere else first ?

Go to your Control Panel, and then the Avatar link (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/p...?do=editavatar) and then click "Use Custom Avatar".

And either browse to one on your hard drive, or enter the URL for one.

Then click "Save Changes".

i must be thick or something i cant see the use custom button ? and save changes ect ect ? must still be doing someik wrong

what i see in the edit avatar page is this

1 do not use avatar button is filled
2 no avatar specified
3 save changes buton
4 a reset field button

nope only get the things ive described

ive also got the avant browser and a get exactly the same result not the full page ? ive just finished with internet explorer samething

so iam not sure whos end it is i had no dramas as u know with the old forum

Mike...
I only get the "Your current avatar" box with the save ect underneath. The "Custom Avatar" box isnt there at all. Reading the help files, it seems like you may not have enabled it in the Admin options.

hmm it is enabled, I just checked.. Let me dig around some more. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Your avatar is showing up though John.. but you still can't see the "Use Custom" checkbox?

Ok I've fixed this, it was a (new) hidden option buried down in the usergroups.
