DVD Files

Hi Chaps,
Can anyone give me a hand . I have some footage of the Moon and Jupiter I have recorded with a video camera. It was recorded using eye piece projection. What I want to know is can I change the DVD file to a .avi file that registax will recognise.
Thank You.

You can try "Bink and Smacker" by RADTools, it coverts all well known video types.

I use DVDX to convert what I recorded on the dvd recorder to .avi.
But because there are .avi's and .avi's, I then use VirtualDub to save it as an .avi that Registax will recognise.
Confusing?
