ngc 7331+deerlick-stephans5

hi guys,
this is the result of 2 nights.
on monday 13th, the first night of both, I have encountered conditions that were so great!
seeing was superb! and transparency at its very best!
guys, we saw M33 with bare eyes! stars up to 6m7 !!!
yesterday the night was also very good, but by far not so hot as monday night.
so it was about time to go for a new target. I have imaged 7331 once with my late h9c - but this time I wanted to catch 2 flies with one strike:
stephans 5 and the deerlickgroup should be framed.
data:
date: 13th + 14th of august 07
scope: 9" TMB Apo f/6.8 (160 3" astrophysics reducer)
CCD: SXV M25C
7.8 hours exposure time (9+12 min subs)
AstroARt4, Maxim DL, CCD sharp, Registax reprocessing
Photoshop and Pix Insight LE postprocessing
all images can be seen here:
http://www.stargazer-observatory.com/7331.html

thanks for looking and comments, guys!

Lovely Dietz, to me the main galaxy has taken on almost a 3D feel to it and the detail is superb.

It reminds me of a mother Duck and all her little ducklings running around.

Cheers
