Jupiter 6 August

Seeing was a bit above average tonight and without active cooling the C14 is slow to come to ambient even leaving it out side all the time on the pier. I need to get my cooling system sorted and bite the bullet to install the peltiers.

Jet stream was really killing the image and it looks like a pastel gone wrong. The C14 continues to surprise though and am glad I got a good one.

This image covers the recirculating currents in the SED and SEB and part of the SEB out break. The NEB also continues to morph but the seeing was not good enough to see more.

Paul

Nice image Paul, some good detail despite the conditions you describe.

I like the colour, too.

Great image Paul.

How come it never looks this good through my 20 x 50 binoculars?

Cheers,

Great image Paul, I really like the colours.

It will be interesting to see photos of your peltier project on the C14 once underway.
