Ngc6188 Ha Stl-11000m

Taken last night this is the start of the colour image. HA 5x15min and 1x 25mins
Taken with STL-1000M on NP101mm
Has been croped.
RGB tonights jobs then post the colour photo.

Wonderful image Phil, the clear fine detail in the nebula structure is excellent.

I'm looking forward to the colour version.

Just wondering is that bright knot in the top right a planetary neb?

Gary, it does look a bit like a PN.





Edit: Found it NGC6164/65 a bipolar emission nebular in Norma http://members.pcug.org.au/~stevec/ngc6164-65_ST11K.htm

Magnificent work Phil. You've captured some intricate details. The Ha data is strong. I will be interested to see how you blend the chrominance data.

Very sharp image!

Does this look like the Eagle nebula to you as well?
It has that dark streak down the middle which I think looks like where the "pillars of Creation" are in the Eagle.. Just a thought.
