Power adapter?

Does anyone have any detailed pictures of the power adapter that replaces the need for a battery for a permanent set-up for a Canon 400D?

Also, the model number and where I can get one...they look quite expensive and I see no reason why they should be!

Does anyone have one they wish to part with? I will buy it off you.

Baz.

Baz, you can get them from Centre.net for a good price.

$91.08 inc GST

It is the 'Canon ACK-DC20 AC Adapter Kit' for 'Canon Powershot S80/70/60 Digital Cameras' but it is the correct one for the Rebel Xti/EOS 400D Digital SLR Camera

If you scroll down on this page, you can see it listed - Canon ACK-DC20 AC Adapter Kit (and it links to the same link I gave above).

Great isn't it - you can pick up AC adaptors for next to nix at any electronics place - then everyone decided on their own plug for their equipment, and an exaggerated price....

Baz, as I said in my post, it is the one for the 400D.

It is also listed in the 2nd link I gave you as the correct one for the 400D.

It is about the same price as a new battery. Why bother with batteries when imaging near a powerpoint.
