WOW!

Absolutely fantastic! Look at those videos! I wonder what size that thing was.

I love how it flashed and broke up right near the end. I wonder if any of it hit the ground and was found.

Thanks for the link Ken!

That would be something to remember if you'd seen it in person!

A truly fantastic sight to see live as they say, even a normal meteorite is a great sight.

Incredible! Especially that last shot of it breaking apart. Good that so many people managed to capture it, too, from different angles. It must have been a big chunk of rock, I wonder if any of it reached the ground?

Sorry guys just told is was a Fake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got this message from my mate in Europe:

> Ok, all of those fireball videos are fakes, the last
> ones on that news report were all made by a guy in
> Spain and can be seen on YouTube. He has videos of
> fireballs falling in Seville, Madrid, Leon, and
> Valencia. The first one that the news opens with is
> the one we discussed yesterday, a rocket or firework.
> I assume a fireball happened in Croatia yesterday, but
> none, not one of those videos are real, so don't get
> too excited.
> Go to youtube, type in meteorite fall, and you can
> find them all.
> Michael Farmer
, sorry guys...........

Don`t you just hate these fakers!!!

I actually saw a real one on the 28th, about half a hour after the ISS passed by. Was to the south-west and started about 30 degrees above the horizon and headed straight down and would have hit -8 mag as it went behind the mountains. Brightest one I have seen for ages!!
I watched a -7 iridium flare a few nights before and this was brighter..
cheers
