Happy Birthday Roger!

All the best Roger, only 28 - such a young chicken and yet so talented!

Hope you have a great day today and clear skies tonight!

Thanks Mike & Ric Clear skies - unfortunately not, storms tonight. So I'm going to do a second best - eat lots of food at a good restaurant

Thankyou all.

The closest I expect to get to an astro gift this year is new curtains that my mum made up for my observatory (upon request). I've always had some black curtains dividing the 2 halves. With my recent renovations insulating, lining and painting that enclosed half of the obs some new heavier (full blockout and insulating) curtains were required.

She's made them out of black fake fur, so they are very insulating, noise dampening, and total light block-out. Very effective.

Haven't had the chance to hang them up yet as I'm still finishing the painting though. I'm really looking forward to having it all finished, can't happen soon enough, the place is still a complete mess with nothing where it should be.
