just a quick play

well first time out in 8 weeks i think due to the weather so didn't hunt any dso's , these were just for fun
all 4 mins unguided st80 refractor light pollution like mad

Those look excellent and sharp, though 4min should get you a lot more than that?

Maybe your ISO was at 100 or 200.

number 1 is very good for unguided

Imagine how deep you could go with guiding

Your definately on the right track. Keep up the good work and before long we will be seeing your lovely deep Northern Hemisphere images.

thanks for your comments i think the issue with detail captured may be down to my light pollution
i did use a neodymium filter to reduce this on the second image which seems to be working but i may have to do alot more frames to get past the l.p i think
