M8 - Ngc104

Last night was clear and cold so around midnight I setup my 8 inch and EQ6 to do some imaging of the Lagoon in particular as I was a bit tired. My alignment was pretty good so was able to shoot 30x30 sec exposures @ ISO800 plus 1x30 sec dark.
NGC 104 was a secondary target of 1x30 sec and 9x20 sec frames before packing up for the night.

Great shots

Its a bit spooky - I pulled out my scope for the first time in weeks on Friday night and took almost the same shots (30x30 sec) of M8.

Sadly, mine aren't as impressive as yours.
