A big 'Thank You' to big hearted astronomer folks who volunteered their time and scopes to assist Warringah Council with their Starry Starry Night lecture by David Malin & Fred Watson on Friday evening.
The council called us at York Optical at short notice to volunteer some scopes up to Long Reef Headland so we in turn called for volunteers and the amateur community responded admirably with one even coming from 70 kms away!
Monte W, Jean-Luc, Mike B-J, Paddy De and David L are all to be thanked for their efforts, without them the evening would not have been the great success it was. The council and the public were very grateful for our combined efforts - many thanks guys!
