After enjoying Sunday night's display visually only (we were traveling), we were home for the encore tonight. These were taken an hour ago. Short exposures (both 3.2s at f/1.8) to freeze some of the detail. One at 14mm, the other with the nifty fifty for a close-up.
Quite a sustained event this one with low-ish but quite dynamic aurorae, with longer periods of static glow in between. The red colour on Sunday was quite intense, as documented by Joe's series. Tonight I saw a tad more movement.
