Canon 6D Modified

Hi,

I've been using a Canon 6D with me telescope but bought an astrocamera so I have no need for this. I wanted a small FOV with smaller pixels and that's what I got so I have no need for this.

Ok so the description on the state of the camera. Everything works fine. I've removed both filters in front of the sensor. Unfortunately when I put it back together, there is a thermal tape that goes on top of the sensor PCB and when I put back the sensor in place, the tape went under and not above, so some gooey **** went on the sensor... of course. I tried cleaning it with camera wipes stuff but it still looks like there are tiny dots, visible only when taking long exposures. It goes away with flat frames though.
And I had removed the mirror but put it back. When I put everything back, I forgot to put a spring that held the secondary mirror latch from not moving when unloaded. It doesn't affect anything, you can just hear it when you shake the camera. I can put it back if it's a deal breaker but it's time consuming as I have to take everything apart
And I put black tape on the plastic thing that you see when looking through the viewfinder. It still works but it's dirty. You can see what I mean on the photo that looks up the viewfinder.

Anyway like I said, everything works perfectly. And since I removed the filters, autofocus doesn't work anymore if you're planning on using a lens.

The camera will come with a dummy battery that needs a USB C power adapter and if you need, a Canon adapter for a telescope.
I'm more than happy for you to test it before buying it. I can also let you buy it and if you're unhappy, just return it to me. And I still have the filters if you want to try and put it back together for some reason.

I should get about $200 just for the spare parts so I'm hoping I can get more than that. But I also understand that the camera isn't in perfect condition so I'm open to offer.

I included a photo I took just a couple of weeks ago. It's about 2h worth of exposure of the Orion Nebula.

I'm in Melbourne in the northern suburbs.

Thanks.
