Gabriella in SHO

15.6 hours of 600 and 300 sec subs

Optolong L-ultimate

Askar D2 SO O3 filter

Stacked and extracted in Astropixel Processor

Processed in Pixinsight and finished off in Photoshop

Scope: TS-Optics 130 APO 0.75 riccardi Reducer

ZWO ASIAIR

ZWO 294mc Pro
I love how the new filters can emulate mono cameras. The image quality may not be on par, nor the actual colours but it's pretty close.

When funds allow I'll go mono but for now this is What I can do.

Fantastic Nik! A beautiful rendition - I think you’ve got the colour balance and contrast spot on…and imho your osc results are always top notch. With the new filter how did you balance the integration time between it and the L-Ultimate?

Thanks Dave

In terms of balance I used 1900 seconds of SO and 37000 seconds of HOO

The Oxygen I combined from both filters, as the O2 is very strong in the Askar filter and used HA as a luminance layer.

Narrowbandnormalization in pixinsight helps to balance out the colours, the rest is subjective.

Nik,
That’s a super NB image from a OSC camera
Your processing skills are top notch
When you eventually jump to Mono , it will definitely add another dimension to your imaging.
Well done !!

Martin
