hmmm the cooling system is working

just checked the peltier cooling system on the baby bird newt and yup, she is working.........

mirror is -3.1, ambient is -2.8

dont think i will do a star test, cos my eyeball may get frozen to the eyepiece.

plus i just walked out in my jamies and me boys have shrunk somewhere up near my armpits........................

Hmm, a rather medically incorrect, but most certainly graphically written description of what appears to be a rather cold snap you have encountered there Mr. Pretorius. What’s more, I thought I detected the somewhat high pitched tone of your post too!

Well it's a sure sign of great workmanship if you can cool your mirror to ambient when ambient is -5!
