IC2944 and IC2948 The Lambda Centauri Cluster and Nebulae

This is an image of the Lambda Centauri cluster and nebula (Lambda Centauri is the bright star in the centre of the image). The cluster and nebula are popularly known as the “Running Chicken”. The image was compiled from thirty 120-second exposures using a Sharpstar EDPH61II refractor, an ASI2600MCPro Duo camera and a ZWO AM5 mount. Embiggened at: https://www.astrobin.com/full/3kcpkn/0/
