NGC 2070 Tarantula “Fire on Ice” effect

I’ve been crook with a respiratory virus for over a week and only just back on my feet today ( should have taken my wife’s advice and had all the flu shots , stubborn me )
The summer cloudy nights continue for a while yet …..

Anyway here’s a reprocess of my recent capture of the Tarantula in late November using Startools.

This image has no scientific or documentary value at all but it’s amazing what you can do with an SHO data set , really weird and psychedelic palettes.

This image took about an hour to re process in Startools

I used a SHO: OHS preset ( 100 Oiii,70Ha +30Oiii , 40Sii + 60Ha ) with tweaks in Green and Blue channels.

It’s my Tarantula “Fire on Ice” portrait

Thanks for looking
Comments good or bad welcome

Although this image has no documentary value , it obviously caught your eye
It does have some “Wow” factor I suppose
Cheers
