I was lucky to have detected a rise in the PSA in 2001 age 60.
I then had the prostate removed. But the surgeon would only operate with a Gleason score of 7 or less, which i was. Because if the score is heigher, the cancer may have gone beyond the prostete, and removal of the Prostate may be too late.
Early detection is everything.
I'm still OK and don't suffer incontinence (I have to visit the bathroom a cuple of times at night).
