Fornax A & B NGC 1316, NGC1317

10.5 hrs data 105 x 6 min frames over 3 nights October Bortle 7, sky clarity was not the best with some cloud and smoke haze. Couple other faint fuzzies in this image

Nice work Trevor. I got a lovely surprise when I zoomed in to see those subtle dust lanes resolved. Well done!

Nice one Trevor, yeah those inner dust lanes make 1316 a cool looking galaxy. There are some amazing swirling messy outer "arms" too if you feel like going deeper

Thanks Mike, 10hrs under my skies would be like 20 plus under yours yet alas conditions etc in the burbs don't help sometimes
