Shibumi Astro Engineering - EQ8 and EQ8-R mounts

For those folk who own EQ8 and EQ8-R pro mounts ( me included) Tony Owen’s from Shibumi Astro Engineering in Ireland has finally developed and manufactured high quality precision modernisation parts for existing Skywatcher EQ8 and EQ8-R pro mounts to ensure extremely high performance for remote imaging applications.

SAE have offered a comprehensive package for complete modernisation completed at their factory in Waterford Ireland or DIY packages for specific parts.
They will ship parts including comprehensive instructions to most countries.

The light duty DIY Dec and Ra worm gear upgrades look enticing and reasonably priced too.
