Microsoft Raw Image Viewer Problem

hi all

ive a slight problem with the powertoy raw image viewer for xp

i double click on a tiff and it comes up "generating preview" and it closes a second later? whats up?

ive downloaded those 3 tiff files of Mike's

do i have to process them first or do i have to have something else to install first ?

thanks in advance

The powertoy raw image viewer is for RAW images (canon Raw images have a .cr2 suffix), if the problem is with Tiffs then it's probably a viewer /file association issue. Open explorer then open Tools, File Types and see if Tif is associated with your favoured viewer or editor.

No John, the raw viewer isn't what you need to view a TIF file, most graphics viewers will open TIF files, the RAW plugin is simply for viewing RAW files; TIF files aren't RAW files.
