Venus in the evening.

Just took this shot of a half phase Venus about half an hour ago. Quite happy with it. Its hand held with an Olympus 410 compact through the 13mm and two times barlow and camera zoom (3X). Only processing is some cropping and a little brightness and contrast control.
All this after fiddling this afternoon to work out how to collimate my scope for the very first time ever. Seems OK! Tonight will tell when I look at the likes of Saturn or Jupiter.
