Leaf improbability

There I was having a smoke in the back yard, minding my own business when I saw the impossible. I had to take a picture of it.

What's the probability of a leaf from a rose, falling and skewering itself into another leaf?

You could sit there for another 50 years and probably never capture that image again.

Nice capture

Yeah it's a shame the scope doesn't get more use but spending 10,000 hours building, designing and administrating an astronomy site and server will do that. If we swapped jobs, I'd certainly have more time. What is it you do again 'Sir Post a Lot!'?

Had to pull out the leaf just to make sure it was real. Still think it's an amazing event.
