M31 - The Andromeda Galaxy - Northern Territory

I was really lucky to get a few hours on M31. This time of the year is a waste of time setting up during the wet season, but I got lucky as I was doing some testing on my balcony. Added the collected data (4hrs) to some data gathered back in early October. In total about 8hrs of RGB (ZWO) and Ha (Antlia). Better pic is here.....https://shorturl.at/gtvT2

Well done Chris on an excellent image. I love the Hydrogen Alpha jets that are not often seen in many renditions.

Makes me want to get out there even in Melbourne where M31 only gets to about 11 degrees in altitude. Now I'll have to study it up.

Best
JA
