A little Mars in the morning

Captured this, this morning. Red channel, 150 frames. Extension tube in for over 13.5m focal length.

Seeing ain't bad.

It's worth getting up in the cold for Mars, even though it's tiny. Visually you can still see some surface features and the SPC.

Hi Mike

Mars might be little, but your image certainly packs a punch – well done! Nice detail in the surface markings and the SCP.

Cheers

Great stuff Mike, you certainly packed a lot of detail into a small image. I'm looking forward to catching some views of Mars as well.

Cheers
