The Stellar Funnel in Lacerta

SH2-126, Imaged remotely from Spain with the Epsilon 130ED and asi6200mm pro
Exposure times were75x 120x each in RGB and 116x 180s in Ha, processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop.

Another fascinating object Peter. The Sharpless catalogue is a great source of imaging targets. This composition presents a quite unique and interesting field. Keep them coming

Wow, what an awesome field, great contrast between the Ha and dust, both in colour and texture, nice work. Although practically it is...space is certainly not empty huh?

Thank you Its such a busy FOV, quite tricky to get that separation from the dust and the Ha

Thank you...Its quit an odd part of the sky...I found it difficult to decide how to frame it...partly because the restriction of the telescope's field but mainly because there's just so much going on.

Thanks Mike....It seems you can point a telescope anywhere and you will find some thing

thats darn good Pete, I havent seen many shots that have really good contrast in both colour and greys/blacks. Exceptional. well done

Plenty to enjoy there Peter - quite an amazing vista! :thumbs-up:

Well framed and processed, but the image size on the link seems to have crunched the larger stars into odd shapes, probably looks even nicer at full size.

Nice image Peter, the Ha blend with the RGB data looks very good. Detail is delicate and not over sharpened.
