Thanks John, fortunately the stars couldn't hide this one but you're right, there are other galaxies amongst the starry background that would have benefitted without the stars.

Thanks JA, if the night had not been so windy, I would have used one of my larger Newtonians but these would have acted like Wind Socks under such conditions, so I stuck to the small Refractor.

I often think the same Alex, it's hard to comprehend the size of these galaxies that, despite the imense distance from us, render their shape in a 4 inch refractor.
