Meade LX200 bolts/screws

I've managed to lose 3 little bolts on my LX200, old age is a curse!

See attached pics, 6mm long, from the rear exterior casing.

Please PM me if you can assist. Thank you.

Chris, I have some small screws left over from when I had the Meade SCT's.
May take me a day or so to re-find them.

Good on you Ken!
I still owe you for postage on that Accufocus unit.
Give me a total and some bank details and I'll fix it up.
Cheers, Chris

lost screws

Chris,
Sorry mate I've been unable to find them.
I may have "donated" them to someone else in the past.
If they do turn up I'll certainly let you know.

Thanks Ken.

So I'm still looking for some of these thingies...

Has anyone seen my marbles?

Chris..... I have a container of different sizes of these.

I don't have a clue what size you need ...??

I maybe able to help you if you can tell me.

Free for you if I have what you need ... $50.00 Postage .... ...nah...just kidding .... anyway free , and I'll even throw in the postage.

Knowing our luck, they'll be M6 Size

Col.

Thanks Col,
Not able to measure the gauge of these I'm afraid.
I've taken the attached pics trying to get a reference for you.
I know that I had to use an imperial Allen key to remove them, 3/32
Overall length = 8mm, thread length = 6mm, side on I see 6 threads.
Hope that helps a bit, and thank you so much for taking the trouble!
Cheers, Chris

This will help from Bunnings if you're unsure of thread sizes - very handy for your toolbox too https://www.bunnings.com.au/sutton-t...gauge_p6270572

Chris,

If you are able to take them to a specialist bolt store they should be able to tell you what size, thread pitch, etc... everything you will need to know.

In Cairns I use Boltmasters, not sure what the equivalent is in Victoria, a google search should turn up something.

Despite Col's very generous offer, I doubt replacements will cost you much... Last time I bought half a dozen or so bolts, washers & nuts of similarly small size, I think I got change from $5

Hope this is helpful

I have ordered from this supplier in Brisbane many times. Here are some socket head cup screws that take a 3/32 allen key.
