Gandalf the not so grey

The Wizard Nebula NGC 7380 in SHO, Imaged remotely from Spain with the ASA12N f3:6 and asi2600mm Pro..
Exposure times were 45x300s in SII, 35x 300s in Ha and 35x 300s in OIII. Processed in Pixinsight and finished in Photoshop.

Impressive rendering and palette choice.

I rather like the deep blue ocean against the golden shores, so to speak.
There looks to be some interesting 3rd party ionization going on that adds interest to the scene.

Very slick indeed

P.S.
The absence of muddy brown hues is greatly appreciated!

Thank you Peter.....The colour rendering isn't to everyone taste I know but I'm pretty happy with it....I just loved that pinkish area I haven't noticed that before

Lovely mysterious looking shot that Pete, one we seldom see posted on IIS, some serious Pareidolia in the gas and dust clouds there, bit like the Rosette, a few animals are leaping out of the shadows

Thanks Mike I love this object ...I think it might be worth pointing one of the longer FL scopes like the 16in at some of the knotted areas...I think it will have a perfect FOV for it

Definitely bold colours and the composition works very well. Looks like I am peering into a cave which is beckoning one to enter
