Excellent detail !!
You can’t beat a C14 for planetary work !
Seeing has been ordinary in Sydney over the past 2 weeks ( according to my guiding activity and numbers )
I must get back into some planetary ( I just dabble in it with my Canon 600D and Televue Powermates , nothing serious )
Haven’t imaged the planets for nearly 2 years
Here’s my last attempt at Saturn with my old 6” Newt , Canon 600D and Televue 5 x Powermate from Sydney ( BYEOS planetary mode , Autostakkert 3 and Registax 6 )
Cheers

Thanks Martin. Normally it happens that by the time I’ve put the eyepieces down and set up the camera the seeing deteriorates so I was pleasantly surprised for it to go the other way!! A c14 is amazing for the planets - and with the binos in i’m in planetary heaven!! but I can probably count on one hand the number for nights the seeing allows for full use of all that resolution.
That Saturn shot of your is a stunner mate! Now you’ve revealed what you can do I fully expect to see some shots from your 8”or 10” this season
