IC 4603 and IC4604

This LRGB image was impaired by cloud interference (the new norm in Southern Victoria), so I ended up with far more L and far less RGB than I really needed.
There's enough on the left of the image to suggest the not too distant Antares...
No BXT or other sharpening - the new RH200 scope at this resolution (1.3"/px) doesn't really need any help.

FOV is 2.1deg x 1.5deg.

Glen, Trevor, and Peter,
Thanks for the comments - much appreciated.

A mosaic to pick up the rest of this area is on my list - cloud allowing!

Thanks Mike. Glad you liked this one.

(The only other time I shot this area was on a very cold night - about -3deg I think - and the camera window iced over. I had not turned on the window heater)

Nice pic well done! Really nice colour. I’ve had a few goes at this area but so difficult in the suburbs with the Lp gradients interfering with the natural colour gradients in the area. You’ve done very well!

Thanks David. As you say, LP can be a real problem with this. The data was obtained in SQM ~20.5, which is not as dark as I'd have liked.....
