Venus this evening

Venus approaching aphelion & inferior conjunction in just a few weeks. Managed to grab a quick capture this evening in turbulent conditions before it dropped behind the house. I've found it very interesting following her phases this year!

Beautiful crescent.

I am keen to try but am battling poor weather conditions and forecasts. As you say, Venus will be lost in the glare of the Sun very soon.

Thanks guys. Steve I think you’ve got about 2ish weeks still Venus disappears for a bit, but the consolation prize is that Mercury will then be within reach in the late afternoon sky
