Nice image Adam. Some great depth and detail in that reflection nebula.

Thanks guys. First go at a dark-ish nebula from the suburban backyard and found it even harder to process than a galaxy shot. The skyglow ended up being really close to the same point on the histogram as the lighter dust parts so it took some curves with 5-6 anchor points to isolate it. Wouldve been nice to get closer to 40 hrs so the edge points were a bit more clearly defined, but alas the clouds rolled in and I didnt want to wait another month for the next new moon, so here we are . Local normalisation and one run of ABE at 0 function degree also helped immensely.

Good learning experience and glad you liked the result!

I've looked at this rendering a few times now, and have to say it's a delightful
nuanced image that even more remarkably was captured from an urban location.

Your technique looks to be flawless. Urban imaging is not easy (Lord, don't I know it )
but results like this are worth the effort.

Knocked it out of the park...Well done!
