NGC6397 in ARA

NGC 6397
A globular cluster in the constellation Ara. It is located about 7,800 light-years from Earth, making it one of the two nearest globular clusters to Earth. The cluster contains around 400,000 stars, and can be seen with the naked eye under good observing conditions.
Distance: 7.8 kly (2.4 kpc)
Right ascension: 17h 40m 42.09s
Apparent magnitude (V): 5.3
Metallicity: = –1.76 dex
Estimated age: 13.4 ± 0.8 Gyr
Other designations: GCl 74, Lacaille III.11, Dunlop 366, Bennett 98, Caldwell 86

GSO 10" f/8 Truss RC Losmandy G11 Mount guided PHD2 Orion Starshoot on 60mm guide scope
QHY 268c one shot colour camera, -15c, . Gain 57 Offset 30 NINA capture software, with Optolong L extreme filter
Time/Locale:
Only my second image for the month, 2hr 27min in 117 frames exposure in 1 and two min long captured 19/06/2023 Bortle 5 sky between 8:00 and 11:00pm, Najm Nazm Observatory Kelmscott WA, no moon very cold clear night high humidity, after false start due to clouds which cleared
Processing: DSS, PS, PS6

Nice one Terry, looked at that through the 18" Dob up a Eagleview over the weekend, quite magnificent, a beautiful eyepiece object.
